Boy-O-Boy...what a week!

Yes...I'll say dat agn...what a week!

MONDAY (16th May)

I found out that my cuz's wife (who happens 2b my colleague) gav birth 2 a baby gal on 15th May (boohoohoo..Madhuri's birthday..boohoohoo..How dare she share b'day with my Madhuri!) Aaargghh..what the hell, who cares!

But, it aint a bad Mon afterall..I had my 1st sweet dream @ age 28. Nope, I'm not pathetic, it's juz that I don't get dreams when I sleep; I either get visions {unexplainable theory}, flashbacks {of events that has happened} or worse, nightmares {the villainous version of dreams}!  *sigh* Or perhaps I dun sleep long enuf 2 invite dreams into my sleep..Oh well, so as I was saying?  Aaaahh yes..I dreamt of Saif Ali Khan (he wasn't a star in my dream..just any ordinary guy on the street) ..what a sweet, sexy, romantic dream..*dreamy eyes*..

Oh puhleaaase, don't corrupt my dream with your naughty thoughts! My dream is as innocent as the dreamer! ;p Really.

TUESDAY (17th May)

Apart from grinning ear-to-ear from the time I woke up remembering my dream..all the way..till the next 15hrs (My poor colleagues could just shake their heads seeing me in this *high* & *sigh* state!), I was granted the “pleasure” of spending 2 hrs, till 2am, trying to save the memories of that sweet dream in here 2 entertain you ppl, only 2 have it disappear rite under my NOSE (due to a glitch which I juz dunno what!)!  If that's not bad enuf, then hear dis: It disappeared juz as I was finishing the final touch-up, of inserting a pic!

So..once agn, I proclaim: I REALLY HATE TECHNOLOGY sometimes! Needless to add, I went to sleep with a beary heavy heart..beary beary sad..but of coz! (Duh)

WEDNESDAY (18th May)

Terribly indigested day with an itinerary dat looks a bit like dis:

1:00pm: Lunch date with Roshni

7:00pm: Dinner date with Farah

So this is how it went..

Lunch date: Roshni (my colleague-friend who juz came back from a 3-wk holiday in Paris!) & I went out of airport (been ages since we did such things!) to lunch @ my fave Chicken Rice stall @ Tampines Blk 138.  Had chicken rice, goes w/o saying! Nice weather, nice co., nice food = GooD LUNCH!

Dinner date: Farah was terribly late.  I waited for her for 1/2 hr, but that's fine as long as I was spared the jam @ Rochor exit on the ECP!  I had Turkish food for the 1st time in my life..@ SOFRA Turkish Delight @ Shaw (Bugis).  I had this thing called "Pide", which is equivalent to what we call Pizza. Farah had "Shish Kebab".  For dessert, ice-cream was unavailable, so the nxt best thing 4 me is chocolate...so I had "Chocolate Pudding" and Farah had "Rice Pudding".  The Rice Pudding was WOWWEE..but my Chocolate Pudding was too chocolatey for me (Farah liked it though)..So guess what 2 genius adults wld do in such situation?!  Trade.  Yes, I took 1/2 of Farah's Rice Pudding and Farah took 1/2 of my Chocolate pudding..& ooh~laa~laa..we enjoyed our puddings awrite! :)

Oh well, have 2 mention: The dinner was on her!  It was her 1st treat 2 me with her hard-earned $$ now that she's working, so why not! *winkz*  Oh, btw, I was wrong (ok, ok, I was wrong - for once!)..she was genuinely asking me out..no strings attached..hehe..she told me "Kak Sharb, if I had any other agenda in mind 4 asking u out, I'd have mentioned it @ the start of the dinner". I wasn't convinced still, so even as we were abt 2 part, I asked her agn "R u sure..." & she juz gav me a "Kak Sharrbbb!" hehe.."Ok ok Farah, I believe u!"

THURSDAY (19th May)

I was pissed-off by my colleague sitting in front of me (not the 1st time she pisses me off!)..hmm..mayb I’m juz not cut-out 2b a gd human being! *sigh*  In any case, I think I might as well not talk abt it or I'll re-ignite my anger!

HABIBI Liyah took up a new challenge in her life today..as MISS MATCH (watch out Alicia Silverstone!) ;p

Slept @ 10.10pm (record-breaking early!), didn't even spend time wif my PC..coz my sis & bro-in-law was home & nvr left as at the time I fell asleep (tired of waiting 4 them 2 leave so I can roam arnd the house freely!)..

FRIDAY (20th May)

Starts wif a lazy Fri @ work..so I was juz irritating the shit out of all my bz colleagues wif my overflowing wits. ;p

Looking 4ward 2 the long wkend 2 work on my project! Oh btw, if u noticed in my whole wk agenda, there was no mention of my project, despite being sentenced 2 do so everynite, then that's coz I nvr gotta do it eventually..that's y looking 4ward 2 dis long wkend 2 really do it!

Not looking 4ward 2 having 2 accompany my mom 2 visit my newborn niece (cuz's baby) who was born on 15th May!!! They don't deserve my attn, that's all I can say (not the poor baby of coz, she's so sin-free for goodness sake)!

Finally, bcoz I’ve been jollying 4 the past 2 wks in office bcoz of my bosses absence, I stayed in office till 7pm (1hr extra) 2 finish all my outstanding work @ the 11th hr before they both come back 2 office on Tues!  But all my exhaustion flew away the moment I come home & on my PC.  Coz nothing is more fulfilling than 2 come home on a Fri nite & finding a testimonial awaiting ur approval on Friendster which read:

“Without even being present u always manage 2 put a smile on my face Sis .... Amazing.”

So u guys..if u’ve been missing me (awww)..I've the best remedy 4 u!  Juz read my blogs & I guarantee u’ll not leave this pg w/o a smile on ur face!  Bet?
