Lazy weekend

This wkend has been a lazy, but fruitful wkend for me. Itinerary as follows:

1. Mom's mood finally swung back to normal.

2. I listened to the 2 people who needed a listening ear and some counselling.

3. I brought mom for some grocery shopping and then went to visit granny and made her day.

4. I've been having an overdose of "nutella" chocolates & Magnolia grape milk these wkend.

5. I deleted 2 ppl from my "friends" list as they've been quiet since they were added.  They're relatives actually, so they know the jist of me...but obviously, they don't deserve to get to know the REAL me...so out they go!

6. Nikky said (on MSN): "Take care of your health, and eat more iron..." I told her: "I've only 1 iron @ home which I use to press my clothes, and if I eat that, what do I iron my clothes with then?!" ... *scratch head* Ok, ok, that sounds like a typical dumb blonde or sardar joke, I know ...

7. I shall punish myself for not meeting my target for my final graduation project.  *sigh*  Lazy mind, so no inspiration.  No inspiration, so not as productive as I'd have wanted to be.  So Sharbina - you're grounded the whole of next week and have to do a bit of your project every nite w/o fail!!!! Errmmm .. except Wed, since I've already made a dinner appt. with Farah, my ex-student who's now a successful officer with Spring S'pore. It's been a while since we met; we've been chatting on MSN & on the phone since the end of her attachment @ CAAS ... and we met once just after the end of her attachment, before the start of Ramadhan last year. But since then, no opportunity to meet. So this Wed it shall be Insyallah - something to look forward to!  I do suspect she may need something from me & mtg cld be juz an excuse, as that's what ppl always do wif me...but I may be wrong, she may juz be genuine, unlike others. So let's see...

8. I watched Jogger's Park for the 2nd time now, on Arts Central.  Slow start, but picks up later half of the movie. I don't know what attracts me to the movie, maybe it's just the actress, Perizaad ZorabianPerizaad2 I'm in awe of her (chirpiness). The subject is not something that I'm in favour of, about a young lady who falls in love with an old man - a retired judge - whom she befriended at the Jogger's Park where both jog at that estate every morning.  A man she had so much of respect & admiration for.  Till one day, both find that they can't live w/o each other and discover they are in love with each other.  But with peer pressures, the relationship just couldn't carry on.  I like the ending, where both decided that it was just not right, and they did what is right.  Parted.  Both went to lead their own lives and 4 years later, both met at the airport and exchanged a Hi & a Bye. Both are happy on the exterior.  But on the interior, viewers' discretion encouraged. Hahaha... Sweet decent love story of a young-old pair. :p So unique.  Oh guess, what, they'll be showing Kuch Naa Kaho (Abhishek with *urgghh* Aish) next Sun.  Love Abhishek in that movie (as opposed to him in Yuva...yucks!)...looking forward to Sun!

Have I missed anything? Oh yes, I miss my princess, Shazadi...I hope marriage hasn't changed her (I know, I know, u're probably bz cooking for ma-in-law & hubby! ;p) & she hasn't forgotten our nice times bitching abt Loveleen on MSN, etc. (oooopppps!).  No updates on her blog since her officially married day (6 May)..kya yaar, what's going on!?

Till I figure it out myself...outz!
