Overdose..of John Abraham!

I had 3 days 2 do as much as I can 4 my project (provided ma Mom doesn't twist my arm 2 bring her out)...& the good news is...2 days is now down the drain wif nothing much done! :( Not sure wat's wrong wif ma brain..but it's juz not working awrite.  Many wld probably wanna noe how my weekend went down the drain, how my arms got twisted..so here goes:

SAT was like wake up @ 10.15am as usual, juz in time to freshen up & settle down 2 catch "Chi & Me" (the hindi sitcom version of "E.T.") on Zee TV while having breakfast. :) It's a Mon-Fri sitcom @ 6.30pm & re-runs (all 5 episodes) on Sat from 10.30am. So why wait 4 it daily right, when I can watch it straight on Sat for 2 & 1/2hrs!  So..as I was saying, I watched "Chi & Me" till 1pm..& then showered, prayed & did step 2 (draft outline) of my Marketing project whose proposal has been approved on 6 May.  I tot since I wasn't producing anything 4 my Mass Comm project, I btr do something wif the other 1 & email my lecturer-supervisor, lest she'll think I'm shaking legs over here!  I aint shaking legs here u noe, I'm juz staring blankly @ my PC screen!

Ma Mom wanna go out shopping 2 check out the GSS & some exhibition @ S'pore Expo (which is a repeat exhibition, but bcoz it's free admission, she MUZ go!)..I felt bad abt ignoring her wish, coz she gav up waiting 4 my response & decided 2 take a nap.  Poor her.  So I asked her if she wanna go out (as though I cld eva xpect a NO from her!), then we got ready & left home arnd 2pm.  1st stop: top-up petrol full tank, her treat!  We reached expo, I parked the car & Dad called.  Mom had made plans 2 go Suntec together; I'll fetch Dad from his Paya Lebar HQ & we'll swop driver.  Obviously he's supposed 2 call when he leaves his post @ Orchard while waiting 4 his transport 2 bring him back 2 HQ..but he called when he was already @ Geylang!! *sigh* So it was literally a free-admission to Expo, went out barely 1 min, the EPS didn't even deduct a single cent from my cashcard!  The whole day I kept teasing Mom wif my FREE-ADMISSION joke!  Fetched Dad, went 2 Carrefour, bought a new fan for myself (took a $125 loan from Mom) & 2 wooden shoe rack (cabinet type) @ $19.90 each.  Went back home 2 drop Dad & the stuff home.  Then we went out agn..2 finish our unfinished - wat unfinished? unstarted! - business @ Expo.  Quick tour inside, same thing since it's a repeat b4 we zoom off 2 Tampines Century Square.  Got a baby gift @ "Kiddy Palace" (20% disc storewide) 4 my cuz's newborn & a watch @ "25 Hours" ($98.90 2b shared among 4 of us - not bad right?!) for Dad's b'day-cum-Father's Day in Jun.

Came home almost 9pm..showered & prayed..then helped Mom fix my new fan..followed by co-building the new shoe rack wif a lot of heart-ache (thanks 2 Dad irritating the shit out of us instead of lending a hand).  We completed almost 11pm..then we watched DVD ("Tumsa Nahin Dekha" for the 3rd time!) as we were too tired & cldn't sleep.  We watched till we got sleepy & decided 2 sleep. :)

SUN was like wake up @ 11.45am as usual, juz in time 2 freshen up & settle down 2 catch "CHARMED" on Star World which having breakfast!  Oh btw, this season of "CHARMED" will premiere on Ch 5 from 1 Jun @ 8.30pm.  After that, I showered & prayed..& then we had 2 go out 2 hunt 4 lunch as Mom didn't cook.  I told her "If u wanna go visit ur nephew's newborn, u btr do it 2day coz I'm not abt 2b going out on all 3 days & not doing my project..2day will be the last day I'm going out!".  So we left 4 Geylang @ 2pm, had lunch @ Hawa Restaurant @ Onan Rd, then went 2 buy the audio CD of "Tumsa Nahin Dekha" as the files I downloaded from the net is not "burnable" on CD (dun ask me why..I already told u I hate technology sometimes!).  Got a major migraine out there..but we completed our errands (of hunting 4 Tahu Goreng 4 Dad) & got back home arnd 4pm.  Took panadol, showered, prayed, rubbed axe-oil & rested my migraine 4 a while b4 ma Aunt called (we were supposed 2 see my cuz's baby together).  Left @ 5pm..saw the baby..held her in my arms, cootchie-coo & baby talk wif her for 20mins (girl u see, if it was a boy, I wonder if I'd even bother 2 visit!)..send my aunt back @ Bedok & home sweet home almost 7pm.  Showered & prayed, had Chocolate Ball wif Milo 4 dinner, then caught up wif the 2 movies I recorded on Sat, "Saaya" & "Paap".  Of coz, in between, I watched my darling Abhishek's "Kuch Naa Kaho" on Arts Central @ 9pm!

I think I had an overdose of John Abraham yesterday.  "Saaya" & "Paap" both had him.  Both was a Mahesh Bhatt production.  So yes, I did xpect that the movie was lift-off from some Hollywood movies.  "Saaya" = Kevin Costner's recent "Dragonfly" & "Paap" = Harrison Ford's "Witness" (1985).  John Abraham is a gd actor, no doubt.  Whatever role he plays, he carries it off with great conviction.  He's, undoubtedly, among the new breed of model-turn-actor (wif perfect physique, I muz add!) who can go far & last longer in the industry.  Then agn, like I said, I had an overdose of him the whole of Sun night!  I didn't mind though, especially the later part of the night when I was watching "Paap".  If u ask me why, then I'll be honest...in 60% of "Paap", he was walking arnd topless (nice bod, so I didn't mind it..;p)!!  Both the movies had substance; I enjoyed the movies thoroughly, not crap at all.  Of coz, watching it from TV2 & TV3, the movies appear so demure & clean, one hardly gets 2 see any kissing or hot scenes...which is so unlike a Mahesh Bhatt film (remember "Murder"?).  Of coz wif a title as suggestive as "Paap" (sin) & a cover as provocative (4 a hindi movie) as this, one sure wld expect 2 sin.

Having "sinned" till almost 3am (insomnia), I woke up @ 11.45am today.  Had nasi lemak 4 b/fast..& now (2.15pm) bz typing this!  Gonna shower & pray after this..but I assure u, the rest of my Monday will definitely be filled wif my project.  No more TV for me till 8.30pm!!! Grounded! (",)
