Indian Idol 2 (Gals round)

Let me introduce:

Front row squatting (from left): Amey, Panna, Sagar (eliminated) & Ravi.

2nd row standing (from left): Meenal, Yashashree, Neha, Judge Farah Khan, Monali, Jolly & Antara.

Last row standing (from left): Karunya, Judge Anu Malik (wif cap), Judge Sonu Nigam (Farah Khan holding his hand) & Sandeep.

Okies.  Tonight was the gala round for the girls.  The sad thing for me was: I was so looking 4ward to having Jon Abraham as the guest Judge, only to have Sohail Khan (Salman Khan's bro) make an appearance instead.  That retard..can't stand his face.  The sadder thing (for the girls) were, while Neha was down wif chicken pox after the last piano round & she missed all the fun but recovered just in time to join in the gala round...as soon as she recovers, Jolly got the virus and so...I think she's out la...coz they can't possibly wait for her to recover right!?  Anyways, it's fated, she wasn't welcomed in the 1st place.  Judges condemned her but public voted for her...so it was embarassing that judges classified her as lucky (she shldn't hav been in!).

So it was just 5 girls tonight.  Started wif Meenal (1 of my choice).  Disappointing.  Voice shattering, dancing inhibited by her dress.  Singing a sensuous song but doesn't arouse me at all! Wat la.. but unpredictably, judges raved. *frown*  Ok, then she may just be lucky to be voted.  Then Yashashree...yawwnnn...can sit with Lata Mangeshkar & sing bhajans!  Not my type.  Then Monali who's good but not my choice, performed really well but got unlucky as her voice refused to come out at some point.  So the song sounded a lil defective. Tsk tsk tsk...kesiaaaannnn.

Then Neha Pox came & rocked!  Now she sang a sensuous song which matches her performance.  Voice is good, but she overdo herself sometimes.  I don't know why she needed to shout at 1 particular word in the chorus.  Every time it's that word, she'll shout it.  Gosh.  Feel like strangling her.

Finally came my trump card, Antara.  She didn't disappoint me.  In fact, she shocked me.  Really, ugly duckling turn swan.  Purrffection-personified.

I'm curious to see who'll be eliminated.  It's close shave between Yashashree & Monali &...Meenal maybe?!  Let's see...tonight.

Oh btw, Himani's out of Saregamapa.  That leaves me convinced that the show is rigged. Thus, I've lost the enthusiasm to hope for anyone (tho I can still vote for Hemachandra).  I can now concentrate wif Indian Idol 2...coz not interested to follow Saregamapa already.  I wanna go for Shaan's (host of Saregamapa) concert on 12 Feb though.  Any sponsors? Tickets range from $47-$157.
