People, 
for the nxt 12 weeks I'll be very bz choosing my 2nd Indian Idol out of the 12 in here. Today was the 1st Gala show, starting with the boys. Panna Gill's (squatting 3rd from left) performance was good but his singing was the pits (but he's the one with the most X-factor, since he looks like Saif). Judges raved abt his singing anyway. Oh well. Then, my Sagar Sawarkar's (squatting 2nd from left) singing was gd, but he very the shy la! But I found my 2nd Indian Idol on the 1st Gala round itself 
(I'm sure it'll keep changing, if it doesn't, then my choice will remain consistent) - Amey Date (squatting 1st from left)! Eh, interestingly, in the grp photo above, my 3 fave boys are placed together!
Hmmm...Let's see how far my wish will come true. Tonight 1 guy will go (I'm so nervous to know WHO!). Next week is the girls' turn. Let's see if my 2 favourites, Meenal (2nd row extreme left in blue) & Antara (2nd row extreme right in orange) can impress me, or I'll find myself ga-ga over someone else!
Having said that, actually I'm hoping that the nxt idol will be a female. Let's see la...12 wks from now.
1 thing happened while watching the 1st Gala round of Indian Idol 2. I find myself compelled to change my opinion abt this bollywood bitch known as Mallika Sherawat (the one who acted opposite Jackie Chan in THE MYTH). I've always thought she has nothing but her body & sex scenes to show. But while appearing as guest judge today, she surprised me that she's quite intellectual!! She can come up with impromptu shayari (poetry) to give her comments on each & every contestant. WOW!! I'm amazed. Only lyricists, composers & singers can do that ... and here is 1 bitch...oopss...ok...will TRY to look up to her & not down henceforth...
Update (17/01/06; 11.52pm): Oh no, Sagar is GONE!! *sob sob* Even the judges are
shocked & all the other contestants cried uncontrollably. Nobody was willing to let him go. He cldn't even bring himself to sing for the last time. Poor boy! The sad thing is: This is Sagar's 2nd attempt. Last year, he didn't make it to the top 12. This yr, he made it...but shortlived.
It's now between Amey & Panna. The painful part of watching all these talent hunts is when you have to see the ones you like leave.

AMEY DATE IS SO DASHIN & COOL. HE IS GONNA BE THE NEXT INDIAN IDOL. I SIMPLY LOVE HIS VOICE AND HIS LOOK :) Don't worry my hubby knows that too. LOL

Antara is pretty and she carries herself well. I think she will be IN. What to you say?

The interesting thing abt Antara is that she was almost ugly when she came (she even told Farah she feared she had no chance if looks is a factor)..and now she has transformed beautifully!!! Amazing. If she can, why cldn't I? Oh...no sponsor, that's y!
