Irk of the Year 1: Today I was standing & looking at the items in a display showcase at the front of the computer - shop @ T1. Came 1 guy - don't know if he was chinese, japanese or badtamese (hindi for rude!) - with a baggage trolley. The shopfront was wide, but he chose to come in where I was standing. Anticipatedly, the wheels of his trolley hit my feet and the tyres ran over my sandals. And he went "oh excuse me". I just stared (I don't care that he was a tourist & I'm an airport staff in a service industry) @ him while he just walked straight as though nothing just happened. If it wasn't 2006...
Gawd! What's wif this world?! U do something so stupid like that & say "excuse me" only after u've hit a person?!!? As though it's not bad enuf that I hate it when ppl hit onto me & say sorry (u'll get a "don't say sorry if u don't mean it!")...I mean, u knew u were gonna hit someone, yet u choose to misbehave in a crowded public place wif ur frens (students & punksters, hear that?!) or don't u have even the littlest courtesy not to reverse w/o looking behind u or just stop in a crowded path without looking if the 1 behind u will bump onto u if not given enuf time to react!!!??! Ya ya...call my attitude arrogance if u like...I call it my freedom of life! The fact I'm very careful abt such things, of coz I expect the same. Lest, I find it worthless to utilise my brain & be alert abt such lil things. As they say, "if u can't beat them, join them!"
Moral of my story: Say excuse me & wait for the person to give u space BEFORE proceeding, less u'll obviously hit the person na!? That's not accidentally already, that becomes stupidly INTENTIONAL! Then don't say sorry if u don't mean it. If you say excuse me & I didn't hear & u bumped into me even intentionally, I accept ur apology whole-heartedly (although I doubt u'd apologize in the 1st place...hehehehe).
Irk of the Year 2: On Mon I went survey with my colleague...at Suntec, I saw a caucasian couple with their toddler...in a leashed. Gosh!! Why do people treat their pet dogs like a member of the family & treat their own offspring like an animal!!?!? Such sight really irks me!! I wished I cld just snatch the leash & unleash the child!
Went for survey & got pulled by an AIA agent @ their roadshow promoting Unit Trust. Hmmm...quite tempted to invest my CPF (hopefully make some profit out of it) since my ordinary acct is like $75k and I can't do anything wif it...so might as well let it lay eggs for me, no??!! Any opinions? I need consultation.
Did my survey @ Harvey Norman @ Raffles City Shopping Centre...I almost spent $1,388 today on this new Dopod 838 PDA Phone. I opened the brochure and my jaw dropped when I saw the "each box includes the following..." portion listing the standard accessories that comes with the package!!! The guy's damn cute...and cheap for $1,388. Alas, when I clarified with the salesman, he told me "the guy's optional & sold separately". Sheesh!! Tak jadi ah!

I can't have too much CPF too, coz the guy u're gonna find 4 me btr have his own CPF..hehehe..(kidding ok, no pressure..not an additional criteria 4u)
