Will this bad wk end wif a btr wkend!?!

It's been a horrible week @ work...I've nvr ran like a mad woman my whole life...feels like a helpless beggar, going arnd begging 4 help!  Whole day calling contractors for a quote, which just nvr came.  But I don't have a choice, I need an estimate costing for hacking an existing wall & erecting a new wall (for the hosereel relocation work)!!!  To make things worse, my mgr is so laidback...she asks me to do something, but when I ask her questions for clarifications, all she tells me is "I've no idea!"  Gosh!!  Here I've to get costing from contractors & when they ask me questions on the specification of the job, I don't know a shit (bcoz I was nvr involved in this issue, all of a sudden it was dumped on my lap)!! 

Finally by 5.30pm...I solved the problem, got a quote ($1,500).  Blardy hell, I wasted 4 days & sleepless nites over a stupid $1,500 quote!!  My snr mgr (yes, the once-irritating-but-now-repented-after-maternity) decided to round it to $2,000 to play safe & we proceeded wif our budget approval paper.  At least my snr mgr was more supportive & was able to clarify all the doubts I had abt this issue.  My mgr had to go off earlier today to do watch survey in town & my snr mgr is on leave tomorrow, so they decided that I sign the paper for my mgr so that we can put it up to the Division Head today. So glad that's over!  Syukur Alhamdulillah.

Tomorrow, a new challenge awaits me.  Calling for quotation for the 1st time!!!  U know, Civil Service, call tenders & quotations via the government e-business portal called GEBIZ.  I hope the calling for quotation goes well tomorrow, then have a wonderful long holiday.  But it's not over.  When I go back to office on Wed (1 Feb), I'll need to call contractors to submit quotes and close the quotation on Mon (6 Feb).  It's gonna be a mad rush to award a contractor & do all the ground coordination & get the blardy relocation done before handing over the shops to the retailers by mid Feb!!!  Crazy.  I'm on course on 9  & 10 Feb some more!  Die.

My snr mgr asked me to coordinate a section lunch (her treat) on 8 Feb. I hope she 4gets abt it...otherwise, I think I wanna tell her we postpone it till this headache is over.  I'm not in the mood for celebration!!

Wat the hell am I rambling here...I've no idea coz I'm nvr in a habit of publicizing office woes.  Guess this one's too much for me to handle...wat to do, a perfectionist, hav my own style of working, so I don't like doing cleaner job like this...cleaning up other ppl's mess!  This is taking a toll on my health.  Sinus is abt to come back, can feel it in my nose (happens when I'm terribly stressed).

Trying to take things ez, looking forward for tomorrow 2b over...gonna chill wif Roshni over a movie (Rosh, "Fun with Dick & Jane" is not out, so let's try our luck with "In Her Shoes" la.  Sorry can't go for NC-16 show wif u "The Long Weekend"...I'm just 15.)  Then looking forward to just let loose in a game arcade wif Nikky on Mon.  Hopefully wif all the chinese bz going visiting, the arcade @ Tamp Mall will be empty!?  Hehehe...fat hope I know!!

PS: After I typed all this, I concluded that this bad wk was juz bcoz I'm not able to face Allah.  I'm always more vulnerable when I can't pray...my faith gets a lil too tested for me to handle!!  Guess, it's a matter of time b4 I get over all this office woes & this nightmare will be over!!  Insyallah.
