The lesser the contestants, the easier to judge. Last nite's Gala Round (theme: wedding songs) was easy to judge. Only 2 perfomed well, Abhishek look-alike Karunya who went 1st & set such a high standard that no one cld match, until the last one, my Amey (he's Indian Idol 2 for sure!!)!!
The other 3 contestants (2 boys, 1 gal) failed miserably. As usual, Udit copycat - Sandeep - sang yet another Udit's song (Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna from DDLJ) much to judge Sonu's unhappiness wif him! Antara sang badly, I don't know why. Anuj (the lucky replacement) sang Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, but his voice started shaking halfway maybe coz of too much dancing. All the bad singing aside, their performance was SOLID!!! Too bad their voices were not in their favour. So in normal circumstances, these 3 shld be straight into bottom 3, with Antara having the highest chances to be kicked out (oh no, there goes Girl Power!)!!
Then agn, I refuse 2b surprised if Sandeep (Udit copycat) remains safe and either Karunya or Amey (who didn't fumble last nite) has 2 go to bottom 3.
Habibi Liyah - why do I have a strong feeling it's Sandeep who'll be Indian Idol 2?!?

Yeayy!! Amey 1st 2b saved!! Straight to the nxt Gala! The gd thing is now it's bottom 2, not 3. After Amey, Anuj is the nxt 2b saved (which I think is the most deserving amongst the 3 bad ones), wif Antara being the 1st 2b in bottom 2!! Thk God Sandeep joins Antara in bottom 2 & Karunya is saved!! If not, I really dunno wat 2 say!! *sigh* Then agn...it's Antara who's been voted out!! *sigh* That's it, nxt Indian Idol is definitely a MALE la!! See, I was rite!! There's definitely a reason y Sandeep is still in...I think my hunch may be accurate once agn. Amey & Sandeep may just be the last 2 stay & Sandeep bcomes the nxt Indian Idol! Leaving Habibi Liyah & I...utterly disappointed!! So Liyah, enjoy Amey while u still can!! ;p

yes dear hope to catch all the rest of the gala (for one reason) that is Amey Date. I really wish he will become the Indian Idol...but no one can say...mayb Karunya will be the one. Sandeep needs to prove that he is a versatile singer ya...but that guy got cute smile...i know u cannot stand him hehe. Let's wait n see who is the next one to go.
