Oookkkaaayyy...past 2 days (yesterday & today) has been great...away from work, on course (in airport still)...CARE Officer skill based course. CARE Officer is a voluntary thing requested by MCYS - CARE Officers are assigned as buddies to next-of-kin of victims in a disaster.
The course was fun (esp. the role-plays, ie. acting!!)...the people I met were equally wonderful! It's nice to be away from office for so long...except for lunch time on both days, I dropped by office to send out urgent official emails...but it's ok coz I managed to avoid most of the people (incl the bosses!). In fact, my last day at work was Tues morning (after a boring draggy meeting). After that I left for survey with this thing in mind that I won't be back till Mon (15 May - aka Madhuri's b'day!) ...yippee!!
Tomorrow's a PH and as usual, the 1st weekend upon payday, I'll make a visit to Granny to give her allowance & also inject some cheer (ahem!) into her boring life...Since this Sat my Khala (Mom's elder Sis) @ Simei is doing her grandson's 'cukur rambut' ceremony, I told Mom that I'd like to visit Granny tomorrow (errmm..plus it's PH, thus free parking! Hehehe...)...and I wanna bring kueh lopis for her (she like!!)...So since I'm home early (6pm) today, I went out agn to buy the ingredients for mom to make kueh lopis for Granny. Really looking forward to spend some good moments with my darling ... my Granny!!
