That's my Dad's badge no. @ work (CISCO). For 30 yrs, I grew up with that no. stuck in my head (6336 was Mom's badge no. @ Seagate).
Oh...if u didn't know yet...I dunno y & how, but I just have this thing for NUMB3R5! And u know what!? Since I got my car, I've been crazily & desperately trying to capture the mileage meter reading unique nos. like 1111km, 2222km, etc, but despaired always. Even tried to capture it @ 6336km...but missed it as I was on the highway.
Yest'day, I came back from work, I captured this. Since the trip from home-work (vice versa) is abt 10km, I know by the time I drive home the next day (ie. today), I'll b able to see 10360! I perservered to "meet" 10360 when I go back home today.
What I planned: I shall moderate my speed accordingly so that I'm out of the highway b4 10360km & if I reach home b4 that, I shall take a joy ride round the block till it reaches 10360km. I eagerly drove out of the airport & I realised that I'm starting @ 10352km. Uh'oh...8km only...will I or will I not make it out of the highway @ 10360km?!?!
What destiny had in store for me: Just b4 I exit the PIE into Tampines, the meter showed 10358km & I was cursing myself!!! I won't be able to capture 10360 unless I get a red light. Darn! I see the light red ahead...it's 10359...oh no...still far ahead...I set my mobile's camera ON...I slowed down...Shit! 10360!!! I took my mobile, checked the mirrors (no white man on white bikes with red light)...CLICK! I DID IT!!! YESSSS!!
If u look @ the red needle, when I snapped 10340km I was stationary @ carpark (btr pic quality). When I snapped 10360km...I was @ 60km/hr...moving vehicle, hand shaky...thus poorer pic quality!
Incidentally, this Sat, 10 Jun, is Dad's b'day. I shall show him this on Sat & make his day!
Next target: 25676km (my birth date!)!!!
