Intrusion by an Uninvited Guest!!

My colleague from another dept whom I recently got close to by chance last yr - Saidah - was so sweet to accompany me to Bedok Industrial Park (IDAC) to go the STAR workshop to get a quote for the repair of my car.

We cabut b4 lunch @ 12.30pm, reached the workshop in 20mins, got a quote ($160) in another 10mins & I dropped her to her mom's place @ Chai Chee to pass her daughter's pencil box which she had 4gotten to pass to her in the morning.  By 1.35pm we set off from Chai Chee after I got MAMEE & TWISTIES from "mama shop" under her blk 4 lunch.

I was happily driving & chatting wif her wen she suddenly shrieked "eeee ulat!!!", I responded wif a "where!?!??!" & she tried 2 point 2 it but as I was concentrating on my driving, it took me a few glances b4 I finally got the exact spot she's pointing (outisde the window visor) & I saw this!

Immediately, I lost concentration & almost cldn't drive...but she did a gd job in pacifying me dat it's juz napping & it's outside & she'll help to get rid of it once we reach airport (she's not scared!!).  Reached airport safely @ 2pm (lunch is 1-2pm!)...but we spent another 10mins in the carpark while she painstakingly tried to get rid of it for me.  Initially, she just dropped it to the ground nxt to my car using a mini brush, but I was hysterical abt it being able to climb back...I wanted her to step on it & squash it dead, but she's superstitious, so she painstakingly lure it back onto the mini brush & left it on the ledge.  I den moved my car further from dat lot so dat it wont come back!   

Eeeeeee!!!  I can't stand it!  Shortly after getting my car in Jan 05, I find that the car was infested wif spider(s) coz webs seems 2b forming mysteriously all over the body of the car.  I've twice gone 2d manual car wash station @ Shell & got the boys to use the jet-spray 2 spray the undercarriage of the car...but the web problem nvr ceased.  As long as I don't see any spiders, I'm ok.

2 wks ago, after work I went 2 my car 2 go home...and wen I went 2d back 2 inspect the car (habit of making 1 round b4 driving off), I saw a baby lizard on my trunk & out of shock, it dashed into hiding (I dunno where!!).  I've been very conscious of the lizard walking up my pants/skirt wenever I'm driving or juz plop on the passenger seat & shock the hell outta me...but since den no sign of it...so I'm fine.  And today...this UNWELCOMED guest!!!  Creepy Crawlie 20.06.2006 for me!
